The multiple forms of a cube that soon turns out to be magical, of a plastic mountain that allows the imagination to fly far and wide, and of a fabric tunnel that resembles the umbilical cord are some of the territories crossed by the expedition of three creators and performers around the human anatomy.

In the dance performance for children and adults, everything is pierced and everything pierces, as director and choreographer Elisabete Finger like to illustrate. “Everything is meant to cross, to come out or go in, to fall in, to remain, to disappear. To look and see on the other side: black, skin, green, patterned, hairy. Hole is an adventure of matter. Without transition. A world fits,” she says.

There is a compliment to symmetries between movements and choreographic arrangements. A clear desire to share other possible relational logics, opening up to a sensitive adventure.

What is at stake are the possibilities of being and moving a material body (flesh, bones, muscles, liquids, hair…) in contact/collision with other matters.

Finger’s works usually pursue a logic of sensations and a state of enchantment tailored into different contexts, such as dance, performance, and visual arts.
