Master Class with Dada Masilo

The master class presents ways of doing dance that are characteristic of the work of choreographer and dancer Dada Masilo, who investigates the fusion of little-known styles with elements of contemporary dance and ballet. The meeting will also be attended by members of Dada’s dance company and proposes a tour through the choreographic universe of the show “The Sacrifice”. In it, Dada unites contemporary dance and ballet with Tswana. Native to the African country Botswana, this dance is often used in healing rituals and as a way of telling stories, in addition to being present in the daily lives of people in the region.
