The performative installation proposes new narratives for the history of people with disabilities. Idealized by Edu O., the work is based on his research on the compulsory bipedalism of dance, which excludes and dehumanizes bodies that do not fit into this normative logic.

For four hours, the performers invite the audience to participate in a relaxed performance experience. The space is transformed as the performers and participants build a web of knots, writings, photographs and memories over three intersecting moments: “Us”, “Emerging” and “Silence”.

During “Us”, a network of support and affection is generated from the act of weaving collectively. In “Emerging”, through solos performed at distinct moments, the artists reveal their individualities and strategies to escape the chasms imposed by exclusion and violence. In “Silence”, the performers leave the space empty so that the installation welcomes those who wish to rest there.

The work has audio descriptions and sign language translation performed by the artists. During the action, the audience can come and go at any time: people can stay at the place as long as they want – either to follow the actions or to relax.
